Despite rumors widespread, Britney Spears won’t perform on next week’s MTV Video Music Award. Ryan Seacrest announced on his show “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Monday that the ‘Toxic’ singer will be out of the event. Quoting Spears’s rep, Larry Rudolph, Seacrest said, “Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally.” Britney left a bad impression on the audience with her last year’s sloppy performance of her hit song “Gimme More”.
